Thanks for checking us out and welcome to ALLEGIANCE!

You're a newbie (and we love you), you're expected to make mistakes. In fact, there are some mistakes we expect you to make:

Flying in circles for half the game. Not knowing which key is bound to what. Having no idea what is going on or what to do. Picking a fight with a veteran player and lasting all of half a second.

Don't worry, half the players know half as much as they really should, and half the rest know half as much as they think they do.

Please consider these important points in the game:

Have FUN!!Don't spam the chat with text or voice chats.Stay in a Scout ship for now, it's the most important ship in the game, use it to scout.Newbie players have a (0) to (4) appended to their callsign, don't dogfight others if you can help it.Stay Together! Pick a more experienced player (without the (0)-(4) newbie number), stick with them.Don't order friendly miners and constructers around, stay at least 500 meters away from them so they can do their jobs.LISTEN to instructions, especially the ones in BOLD from your commander, and from @alleg enforcement personel.

When you were a newb, if you listened to someone who told you to only to fly a scout, would you still be here? Personally I would have gotten bored with the game and left years ago.

Yes scouts are an easy way to make new players more useful, but they are also not the most entertaining ships to fly.

I'd say stay out of scouts and just pew pew everything you can get your miniguns on. Then learn the awesome scout later when you're more pro

When do we tell the newbies that this community is extremely aggressive and hardcore and feelings will be hurt?
