Zero brings up a good point here. When people first start to download the game they have to work just to find out where they can go to learn stuff.
The temptation will more likely be for people just to hop right in the game and learn the hard way or just quit because they can't be bothered.
I bring this up because I remember back in the day, when you installed ASGS/Alleg there was one shortcut for the actual game and another optional shortcut that took you to the Alleg Academy. Seeing as this site has been down for a number of years and IIRC there are no other shortcut options available when you install the game, it might be an idea to introduce a shortcut to the Quick Crash Course wiki page. From there it should be relatively easy for people to browse around the wiki and they can find out about AFS etc. at their leisure.

hmmmm I just reinstalled the game ( new computer ) and didn't notice the links. Maybe we need to make the information "pop" during the isntall via a little slide show? I realize it's a work, and I'm not asking directly for you to do it, just your input on feasiblity and such.
Oh and this is a perfect time to say that I found the install seamless and the game just started right up without a tweak of any kind. This is more painting a room in the house a different color idea rather then shoring the foundation type of thing
