There are text based games on the internet that have a few pictures of practically naked women for art and that charge you money in order to stand any chance in hell at winning, they get thousands of players and yet allegiance which is free to play, much better in quality and entertainment gets about 100 players max. Does that seem right to you?

I don't think the 5v5 PU games detract from the 30v30 squad games. What I find annoying is when people choose not to play because they don't want to risk LOSING on an uneven match so no Allegiance gets played and we turn into an spacey IRC.

Apperantly Allegiance needs some Titty Babies to attract new try-outers-for-free-and-forever

And once they are in, all we need is a newb practice, for them to test how to drop stuff and right click at least, before joining the real game.

Actually, mods/Trax: just change those img tags to url's, whoever gets there first.

Furthermore, are we sure those are the images that will attract the kind of gamer we're looking for?

To me these are juvenile to a ridiculous degree and a very good argument for why we should not go there.

Well, Alleg isnt alone with that kind of problem...even world of warcraft is loosing a lot of players lately

I have played a game called tremulous for a very long time - at least 5 years - and that is about the longest time i have ever played a single game. now look at that:
