I propose we plan and advertise a "Last Game of Allegiance" to all current and former community members. I'm sure that there are people who don't play but would come back for the "official" last big event game. I would. Not saying we shut the servers down and call it a day afterwards, but you get the idea. The Last Event Game, just so we can all say we played the "last" game of Allegiance.
Alleg is dead, folks. You can make your lists and make your claims as to why it's dead and what will save it, but it's dead guys. Might still get a few decent Sundays here and there for a year or so, but the game as we knew it is done. I've been calling this for years, maybe a bit prematurely, but the community just "feels" done. There is no feeling of camaraderie anymore, at least not like there was. Everybody's off to new games and new interests, and just stop by here to chat about a game they don't even really play that much anymore. It's not a bad thing, it's just... how it is.

Wat. Just cause you don't play doesn't mean the game is dead. There is a game going on right now! We have events planned.. apparently people are reworking the training missions, the league is coming up, squads are scheduling scrims vs each other, the forums are still kicking, etc. Having 25v25 pugs back to back to back is done.. but 10v10s - 15v15s are still enjoyable every now and then. Why post gloom and doom? We've still got a few more years in us.Bacon wrote:QUOTE (Bacon @ Jan 5 2012, 11:40 PM) I propose we plan and advertise a "Last Game of Allegiance" to all current and former community members.
