Do you remember and/or old enough to go to Clutch Cargo's raum while in the D?

edit: FYI that cartoon is playing in the background when young Butch gets his Dad's Watch from Christopher Walken in Pulp Fiction

You should. I finally had enough time to watch this and it's fascinating. The hard times that we are experiencing are foreshadowed by what it took for these noble people to survive. I am a firm believer in the "dignity of mankind" in that as modern humans, we need to be able to live in a manner that doesn't reduce us back into barbarism. To witness how these people worked together to survive in as a hostile environment as anyone today can imagine, makes you wonder about things like if the "civilized" world can survive with 7+ billion people without us reverting back into acting like animals to do so.
I was very impressed by the innovations such as using a clear block of ice in the igloo to catch sunlight and the strength of Nanook (and the line that was holding the seal) when he caught a seal and held onto it until help arrived.

Thank you, Mr. C for posting this gem of history ;)
