LTNS for those that remember who I am. I know, I know, it's been a long time. Had my Allegiance memories come back in a funny way.

You see, I gave my son my old computer about a year ago. Today, I'm sitting here, hacking at away at some zombies when I hear some old familiar sounds.
Sure enough, my boy (terrornights) is busy flying around in a LXY Int like a newbie. Shooting at probes over 2000 away and the like. Finally got him to get back to base, grab a scout, and start nanning a bomber.

Makes me think about playing again, if I can ever wrestle my joystick away from him or go to Saitek to order a new one. Before I do, is there still an issue about two accounts playing through the same modem? I know back in the day, there was an issue that would tie the accounts together. Don't want to mess up my son's account before I create a new one since TE never wanted to release my old account.

So, shoot me a line and I might come back to bounce a fig or two off a base, fly around in circles, and pod along like I always did.

Not the modem bud, the computer. Never log onto the same computer with different accounts and it is all good.

What MrC said. However, since your son is using your old computer, chances are very good that his account is already linked with yours (due to the same computer). However, that is fixable. TE can unlink the accounts. If you return and find the accounts linked, post up on the Helpline and I'll see that TE gets to unlinking them.

Linkage does not appear to be an issue, he's a (2)

Remember, ranks degrade over time. If he's been gone that long, he was probably a 0. (2) in a couple hours is actually pretty good, if I remember correctly, myself.

They do no longer degrade since introduction of AllegSkill, that was ELO/HELO with that strange age formula... :glare:
