Actually I read somewhere that isnt a bug but the character modeling working as intended. Not sure if that is true though...

lol, hiding inside of rocks in BF2142 was a 'feature' as well. Or so I assumed after my beta company found like 50 rock's with holes that you could shoot out of but not be shot at and did not fix one of them.
