Hello. I'm an old player! Some of you might remember me as a cadet of '07, and the fact that I had a faction awaiting for acceptance in a core, around '08.

Unfortunately, those which had promised me to implement my faction have never said a word for my part of the contract; and I'm afraid, my Allegiance years are behind me, so I cannot do this myself, even though I long to see my work being appreciated by people. My plea is this: if there is anyone out there interested in adding my faction (Bio-Lumen, if you haven't noticed yet) to a core, or would like to take care of the project, please say so or contact me.

IIRC, all the models and textures and logos and stuff are done, leaving CVHs and a few smaller jobs like mission statements and the ambient noises for the bases, as iirc there wasn't any special tech?

I remember loving the models for this faction :iluv:

Not just the graphics and models done, but the cvh's and sounds and lobby art and minimap icons and whatnot are already complete as well. Same for (the abundant) s.tech (icons, models, et cetera).

how come a guy made a whole faction and the community never used it ?!

so much work just wasted ...

who promised you to implement it ?

if you agree, we might reuse your artwork for a FS2 Allegiance related project. Any download location ?

It was supposed to be in Andon's Raptor core along with his Faction X (another faction totally ready to use but not) however I don't know what's happened to that core -- I'm pretty sure we can't play it.

the basic design would not work in XC, nor in CC, as it requires too many unique weapon masks and it sucks anyway, although the artwork assets are nice

It's an interesting "Dark Ages" effect...

The real work done here (IMO) is in the graphical department - the faction's particularities can always be changed (minus for some innovations I believe to be interesting).

I also didn't knew cores had s.tech limitations?

I don't think it's weapon limitations, more like slots for tech to go in in the core.
