RT vs BS

Idan (TF) vs Mamba (IC)


- IC tp home and pushes op agressively next to RT home while RT scrambles to defend and redirects op to high choke and tp to low choke while using miners as home tp (and many a teleport aborted)
- Second IC tp con killed thanks to found prox2
- IC miner killed in a gangbang
- TF get sup high next to their home (between tp and home)
- IC get sup low next to their home
- TF tp to the agressively pushed op
- IC miners die in various locations
- We succesfully defend our teleport in their op and a nice uneyed bomb run predicted by our psychic commander
- TF expands a little bit more with a teleport high but IC pushes teleport there too (next to their home)
- IC attempts to mine middle sectors while a TF bomber run on their op fails to a 1% hp remaining op
- IC also kill a miner or three during this time but IC miners keep trickling in the deathlist, as we bait their team while mining the split sector next to their home (uneyed sometimes)
- TF Adv figs up
- IC Adv sup and galvs up and they galv our tp next to our home low (but not the one at the choke)
- TF FBs up
- I go on a drunken riprampage with a FB just to wreck BS nerves. Get a teleport on a stealthfigbomber run thanks to Fell
- Agressively pushed IC op taken out by FBs finally after many a plead from our commander (sorry idan :P )
- TF TP2 up
- TP2 drop on IC sup fails
- IC Galv run (?) fails with many a podded pilot despite two TF scouts setting up for drops on Sup and Garr
- TF Scrambles to Antibase equipped fighters
- Serial drops on Sup and Garr net both with our glorious commander deservedly getting the kill

Great example of how fun Alleg can be. Let's bring this to a PUG near you. :) Good game, Black Shadows!

Lol we had the exact same factions and TF won both times :D

Execution rather than faction won. I believe early game is what most determined this game and we have some very good scouts and int pilots as well.

Was that tele next to our home your opening con? We didn't find it for a long while and couldn't figure out wtf miners.

Didn't seem to help though, but we tried. On that note:

Well played RT, you guys deserved that win. It was a good long game, but I don't think there was a single point you guys weren't in solid control and pressing towards certain victory. You mined freely irregardless of all of your sectors being adjacent to ones that I had rips at, and you destroyed most of our miners with scouts vs. ints. Idanmel seemed to know from the start how it could end, and he followed through.

i'm quite pleased to see that map used!

how did the commanders feel about it?

That was a really fun game BS. You fought a good fight.

It also felt like the TF nerfs we put into CC_12 (removing their gratuotous extra fuel and other perks like that) worked out. With the slimmed down IC fighter hitbox the sup vs sup stuff was really cool.


Virulence, the map was excellent. Clear to read on the minimap, and tactically interesting. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the game BS. Was fun.

There were a couple of points we could have lost control though Fed.

That bomb run on our sup early-ish came pretty close, and if it succeeded, the whole game would have been much closer (if not going the other way). Didn't one of your Figbee runs come close too?

I'd also like to say thanks to BS for waiting for a few minutes so we could get 10 :iluv: (and obviously apologies).

Was this the one where our defence succeeded because somebody had docked gat 2 fifteen seconds before? Yes, very close.
