Just to summarize alleg was working fine 2 days ago. I only got this problem after restarting for a anti-virus update I usually hibernate.
I'm not sure how Norton could be part of the problem (if at all). You said that you disabled it, but did you *uninstall* it? AV and firewalls tend not to really disappear until you uninstall and reboot. Give that a try. In Norton's case, you may need to run their removal tool as we know from past experience that Norton doesn't completely uninstall unless you use the removal tool. (It can be found on their website.)
Ok that didnt work either... maybe sum1 can help me figure out why mouse isnt working in windowed mode then... mouse toggle wont work even i change the key for it no luck..
This is due to the release of (R5) a bugged version of Allegiance and it's been this way for almost 2 years.
Allegiance development no longer exists in any real sense so you might have to wait a bit before the fix gets released (R6).
[15:25] <BBT_> oh, so da vinci's mona lisa isn't his work?
[15:25] <+fuh-zz> No, he simply put effort into it.
[15:25] <BBT_> are you really that retarded?
These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye

I doubt it because it launched on beta but not normal. An already existing software update is interfering with a file that R5 allegiance may need but cannot figure out what it is.
Also driver update date shows that it is not a driver issue. Worked after the date i.e. yesterday. It occurred again after a restart. I noticed samsung boot optimization was running could be that not find the software to uninstall it.
I tried it anyway hoping to get lucky but nope didnt work.
