Now THAT would add some seriously interesting fun to a game. An aleph generator that cost $#@$ loads and could be used to create an temporary (20s?) aleph to any already attached sector (no more range than one sector). Entry would be created where the device was used, exit in a specified sector (again, already attached), but the exit aleph would be randomly placed anywhere from 15k-20k from a base. The temp aleph would, of course, take some time to form and be visible. Much like tp2, but not destroyable.
if its 15k-20k from a base i don't see how that'd be overpowered

For whatever reason when I map controls to my mouse like the booster it will fire for a split second every time I push the button, but won't continually fire it. Not sure if this was due to some kind of code change or something. I had a few other issues too, so basically what i'm saying is that I'm too lazy to learn how to play Allegiance a different way.
Glad to see other people are coming back and keeping the game alive though. Even though I don't play it's somewhat comforting to know that somebody out there is keeping the dream alive.
Bones heal. Chicks dig scars. Pain is Temporary. Allegiance is forever.
Pico watch out for the next beta Wednesday and see if that's been fixed in R6. (Not sure what's happening with beta Wednesdays atm but I think pkk's planning something).

These bugs haven't been fixed yet because don't have any developers interested in fixing them up. --Tigereye
