Perfectly possible. Caltrops, towers, rocks, drones, all can kill and be killed. More so, K + E is a 0-sum. K/E is not, someone who has a 1+ K/E and a ton of kills who has played for years can easily outweigh a lot of new players with less than 1 K/E who collectively have few ejects and few kills do to having played for less time.

Not to mention if you are out of base when your team resigns you get a eject on the system.

Damn, you're right.

Caltrops and such add to ejects, and newbies who play for a while add to kills and then are gone from the leaderboard.

Mea culpa and all that.

Invariably I used to hate it when you were good at the game as well.

I didn't like not being able to save ship loadouts and sometimes when rushing to get reconfigured & launch I'd accidentaly hit the default button.

I also don't like that so many friends went away.
