that restraining order really irked him!
No i think its a valid point.

WHY does a DEV, or a "Balance" ZL require the ability to look up hiders, ban people, and etc. What reason would there be for giving this power to people who are working on game mechanics, or balance. We do not give architects the ability to arrest people, as we do not give engineers the ability, or doctors, or game programmers. So what is the reasoning for requiring all ZL positions have these tools, regardless that what they are doing has no bearing on enforcement.

But hey, on the plus side Bard's reply could be misread to say you're banging him, so it wasn't all a waste :D

I've done some (rather random) reviews of Imago's code in the last weeks and pointed out a few bugs to him. I'll join you in a proper review of every commit if you can publish the list of what is already done and what needs to be done. And by publish, I mean readable for anyone, not just the dev team. I suggest using a simple Google spreadsheet (Table with: Revision range, Reviewer, Result), but anything works as long as it allows reviewers to coordinate.
I think part of the problem is there isn't a list of everything that. Hundreds of undocumented changes over the course of a year while nobody was at the helm have a tendency to cause such things.

Also, most of the dev team stuff IS readable for anyone in the same way this forum is readable to everyone. Create account, receive dev team access.

Finally, I can't imagine why anyone's interested in pandering to imago anymore. Should just ignore him until he goes away.

Undocumented? What? Isn't it all in the SVN?

The code being availible and the documentation for what was done is two entirely different animals.

EDIT: you guys type faster than me :)

ugh. At the risk of making things more dramatic, this thought came to me time and time again after reading his words.

How can someone who types so legibly be so ignorant? Your idiotic viewpoint is probably written the most elegantly I have ever read.
If you put in 1/4 of your writing skills... no scratch that. If you put 1/10th of your writing skill into research/reading/learning the truth you would be unstoppable. Instead you spout your baseless opinion and regurgitate people's words completely out of context, lowering the intelligence of everyone who reads this topic. God forbid anyone should think you are speaking from experience or education.

I might just need to move this to rants and be done with it.

LOL I thought you post was pretty good, not "the most elegant thing I have ever read" but I was also unclear who he was talking about.
