I've been playing more or less every day for months and only just start seeing him in-game since he joined the dev team, and if he was playing on a hider... (not likely because he's incapable of keeping his mouth shut so he would be immediately obvious) But what do I know

on a semi-related note - I don't think people who are bad at the game should have any influence in core/game development. If you can't figure out how to effectively play the game as it is then wtf are you doing adding more @#(!? You think more "features" will make you better? No, they people better than you will still use your precious features more effectively than you will, so No, $#@! you.

The best people's opinions should weigh heavier than anyone else's, in every scenario in-game, and in RL

god damn I'm grouchy

and why the $#@! would you link the @#(! you linked to prove he was "playing" at this time?

Idiot

they are plenty of people that say...troll the forum, or...code on the dev team...or both...that don't actually play the game

for instance, Bard

for clarity, if you're too stupid to see what I'm getting at just because Imago may have fixed a bug a year ago, doesn't mean he actually played the game

plus I was unbanned right before then and I don't remember seeing him in-game around then, either

so far I've got two people that have made fail attempts at discrediting something I said by linking something with no relevance whatsoever
typical

You honestly believe that because some has a higher skill level in a game then they should be the people making the decisions? Are you for real? Seriously?

Lets $#@! all the current admin/dev team/helpline/server staff/core teams off and give the coding/server/client/ knowledge tasks to the guys who have the fastest twitch reactions!

I'm all for it.

Edit: just to clarify for your amazingness;

Mastametz wrote:QUOTE (Mastametz @ Aug 22 2010, 05:50 PM) I don't think Imago gives a $#@!. He only start playing again like 2 weeks ago when he decided that he needed some internet attention so he joined the dev team, campaigned for a bunch of useless features he thought up, and harassed people on the non-beta servers on testing days to make sure that his @#(! got tested by everyone - no exceptions.
See that right there? IN BOLD, by writing the word "SO"you said he joined the dev team AFTER he started playing 2 weeks ago.

Twitch reactions have little bearing on anything in this game

you might know that if you actually played and/or were good at playing

Absolutely

not to discredit TE or anyone else who contributes time or money
but just because you contribute time or money doesn't mean you opinions on game-changes are good - at all
that being said, you contributing time or money gives you the most influence on said potential game changes
furthermore, the best people at the game are most commonly the least inclined to contribute time/money and as such have more influence about said game changes
funny how things work

Sure twitch reactions have nothing to do with aiming and strafing.

You are really $#@!ing stupid.
For so many obvious reasons

but furthermore

there is/have been at least 2 very/incredibly good XT members with medical conditions affecting their twitch reactions

and they still $#@!ing crush you because they don't believe in making excuses, they just adapt and overcome

Skill at the game doesn't translate particularly well into skill at administration or coding. Perhaps you would be able to figure that out if you had any skills?

Says the guy who cant even remember what he typed and then tries to rebuttal someone using different information than he wrote, making himself appear extremely stupid in the process.

Your too $#@!ing easy. You troll yourself faster than I can.

Not my fault if you aim that slow you never have to move your joystick/mouse fast enough for it to be considered a twitch.

I never said it did
p.s. My brain is engineered for programming

and SP4WN, I had to go back to the last page and re-read to see your edit -
I didn't know Imago was on the dev team as far back as a year ago

it's probably something I missed/forgot over my years of being banned

but it still makes no difference
