driving a ship which has turrets on it, because that way you know that when you get podded you'll have buddies to float home with

but more specifically htts + bbrs, or caps if they are available

Camp an aleph for a suspected inbound HTT and then having 10 some HTT defenders blast through the aleph to clear the way and disperse campers. Then to boost into the sector they just came out of and solo pod the now completely undefended HTT.

Anyone ever do this?

If the HTT has no nans it's doable. I once did something similar but podded 3 nans instead (giga scouts against mini2 dreg hvy int ftw).

prior to the "fix" of the ram code this was easily doable.
