Need a new mouse and keyboard

I have a really modern computer but the mouse and keyboard are ancient.. some no name microsoft keyboard and a gigabyte technology optical mouse. I need new ones cos they're dying on me.

So, can anyone recommend me a great gaming keyboard and laser mouse that is great for Allegiance. Wired is what I'm fine with.

I have been looking at the razer, logitech and ms products and apparently come up with these as options

Keyboard
Sidewinder X6
Razer Arctosa
Logitech G19
Saitek?

Mouse
Sidewinder X5
Razer (so many razors though)
Logitech G9 or G9x
Saitek?

For the mouse, I would visit a store and get a feel for some of the mice that are on display, as they all have different grip styles and sizes. I personally like the logitech G5, which is now the G500.

Save your money on the G19, it's got lots of sweetness but I don't think it's worth the money.

As for the mouse, go for a G5 or G9 if you want wireless.

Razer Deathadder FTW. I've used it since it came out several years ago. I think the Razer Imperator is supposed to be pretty nice too but haven't tried it myself.

edit: I should add while I would recommend many Razer mice, I'd probably recommend not getting a Razer keyboard. They seem to have some reliability issues for some people based on reviews I've read.
