Here's a linky to the Norton one. I seem to recall (way back when) where you had Norton or some such installed and you weren't permitted to remove it. If this is the same machine, then you probably still have some old crap kicking around that needs a total purge.

Different comp...I think. I got this one about a year ago and have been on no security/anti virus programs for this long >.> Probably going to actually install AVG or something like that tho.

Trying the removal stuff to see if that's the problem. It did come with Norton 360 installed.

This may be the issue - make sure you reboot the machine after running the tool before trying Alleg. though (sometimes this is required before it works)
