I hate TF. I'll say it right here so everyone stops asking me. It's annoyning and needs to die horribly.

So we killed it. With belters.

Suck on that lemon TF fanboys.

P.S. Clay :iluv:

How did we win?

We won by blowing up our own shipyard.

True story.

Aeris (Belters Tacyard) vs MastaMint (TF Adv Exp) - Unknown settings, IO

Game starts. I realize we must kill miners fast in order to be victorious. We won't actually end up doing so, but I don't know this at the time and buy an opening Tac anyway. I send scouts out to find a tac rock to put this tac on other than home, and we find an appropriate rock mid. It plants without context and our op beats theirs right. we slowly mine while they do... stuff. I don't know what, someone will have to fill in the peanut gallery. I ask the team if they want SY or SBs, and they unanamously (read:2 people) vote for SY, and we buy one and put it in our backfield on the right. Their exp planted quickly after our tac went in and built without contest, and between their ints and scouts, we were unable to kill a single one. On the other hand, they don't do much against ours either.

Our SY goes up under fire and so does it's associated TP. We try and launch corvettes to defend the now-in-danger miners, but k10### decided to say "eh" and not launch when I in all caps said NOW at him. We lost a miner and I lost him (via the boot button). I launch the corv in time to save miner #2. We then corvette mine mostly successfully while Snape attempts to hunt miners in an Assault carrier. 12 ints and 3 sectors later we are down a carrier and they arn't down any miners. They then get heavy ints up and I start to get nervous. We manage to mine enough to get cruisers up with large2 and sky2 when our last miner dies. We have exactly enough money for a cruiser and a corv, and we (me and clay) decide to go balls deep. We attack their home in our capitals most successfully and roll on to their exp.

We don't intend to attack their exp, but someone in a belters ship had enough mass to nudge the cruiser into the exp sector into an int camp. Clay boosts in after it realizing what happened and manages to keep it alive long enough for my corvette and his gunners to clean up the ints. Meanwhile, Minty's HTT team is rolling on our sy. They cap it right before our Cruiser nukes their exp. I ripped home and find a TF corvette staring me down. Then the cruiser rips in not 5 seconds later. Some hecktic killing of Virulence ensued and our Cruiser is exactly alive enough with exactly enough nukes to pop our SY and end the game.

In conclusion $#@! YOU TF, DIE IN A COUCH FIRE.

Special Thanks to Clay@XT for his glorious save of our pushed cruiser (his scout was boosting the /second/ the cruiser entered the other sector) and Hidernick_32 for superior miner defense and management under less than stellar circumstance (voobs ordering them around too).

Well, we didn't actually use our belter tac. The SFs got murdered all over the place.

I can vouch for that. I do have to say that I impressed myself for having, what, a year off and managing to not simply die in unprecedented succession. (It was actually quite funny - I managed to get 6 Assists, 6 Kills, and 6 Ejects)
