This is the type of game I wanted to be involved in when I first played allegiance. I can't wait until I know what's going on when I play a game. xD
This has inspired me to do some more reading up on the subject... Woohoo! =]

I was going head on for Random in my scout after I went through an aleph. I fired my nan, realized I had a nan loaded and had healed him, then fired my two dumbfires right before I ate a heaping helping of Minigun.

dome and i met in a head on collision at an aleph too... a chance encounter that was almost predestined to occur due to the practically continuous miner rushing we did. these are always pretty funny cuz after the impact, i was momentarily disoriented and didnt know which side of the aleph i ended up on. eventually though, i waded over to dome, exchanged insurance info and we were off on our merry way.

Awesome game.... simply awesome.. I have been playing allegiance a long time and have not seen squad play executed so well. It was wonderfull to see all of the members of Xt's squad show up and push us hard. My kudo's to XT for playing an awesome game. My Hat's off to everyone SYSX and XT , classy game. About as classy a game as ever I have played....

Stop it! You are going to make me feel bad about my comment on TS of "Lookit Cable running like a bitch to save his KB! Lulz!"

For those who remember and participated in both, how does this game compare to the SysX v. XT game a very long time ago where XT ended SysX's streak of wins (this was before XT's even longer streak of wins)

For a refresher, what I remember from that game was that it was IC v. IC on Star: Grey v. ??? (Nak? Night?). In that game, SysX and XT both had hvy ints, but SysX opted for SBs while XT went for HTT.

SysX had the econ advantage and had just finished SBs when XT went all out on an HTT run for our only expansion. They were successful despite one of the best furballs I've ever been associated with, and went on to win the game.

That was the best game I ever played in Allegiance, back when both teams would fly int packs of 10-12 within 500m all striking at the exact same moment.... Just watching the FRAPs weed has, it looks like this may have been close. To be honest, I thought there was no way that squads would ever be that highly skilled and evenly matched after that game ever again.

Kudos to both sides!
