Got my first boot from Fatty_Bangin as a noob on the AZ
Got my first comm win versus Kevdude on the AZ
I remember when SRM_KLM and his wife SRM_Mouse (I think those were the two who split) got a divorce partly because of this game.
Ryjamsyn always going Rix SY
Harold3 commanding and losing game after game.
Ahhh so many memories, but sadly so many are forgotten /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

- Remembering my first live game 6 years ago. Fresh out of the training missions, I was in a scout shooting at an IC outpost. It never died????!!??
- Coming home between classes, creating a No Adv game with max team size of 10, titling the game "Quick lunch break game" and having it fill up and launch within 5 minutes
- Being late to the next class because I just couldn't bring myself to leave after one quick game
- Looking on the leaderboard to see how your stats looked with each faction individually
- Deciding not to take a chick home from a bar knowing that I would rather hop on Allegiance
- Knowing that when I got home from working at the bar there would still be 100+ people online

I recall the "Free Beer" thing and also considerng Kevdude to be the greatest thing ever. Then I got to know him over IM and discovered he was nothing more than a facist brit! =P
As a newb, I remember thinking that if I had a capship, I could win any game. I even boasted that if a comm gave me a capship, I'd win the game for them. It never occured to me that this was probably due to the fact that I WAS FLYING AN EFFING CAPSHIP! =P
And too many other things to list. You guys got the bulk of it, though.
One thing I do remember, strangely enough, is the name of my first home sector in my very first game. It was Night. In my second game, I was REALLY confused because Night was no longer home, and the dark aleph didn't lead to "Night". It seemed to be only logical, but I quickly discovered that names were randomized. To this day, I still get all excited when Night is my home sector, lol.
