Another BOOT thread

Well, I got booted again in yet another +spidey verse *Virulence game, who seem to be the only two guys commanding over the last few weeks during what seems like west coast primetime; afternoon and evening.

It's pretty frustrating not getting accepted. Not a problem. It's frustrating thinking you're going to log on to either blow off steam in a passive way and forget about the world, only to get kicked off for some obscure reason.

I know, I know, "If you don't like it, then don't play!". Sure, I can do that. But I happen to like Allegiance. It's a game my buddy and I played years back, and it was fun.

Yeah, sure, "DO WHAT THE COMMANDER SAYS TO DO!". I usually do, unless there's a pressing need somewhere, like someone going after our miners or a scout TPing our tech base. But then I get booted for that as well?

Look, I rarely come here. I don't moan and whine here, but I've gotten pretty frustrated trying to fly a normal game as of recent. When someone else taunts, or floods the chat with taunts, it's considered bad form, but not bootable. But when I hit one, maybe two taunts, I get booted?

I'm really curious what commanders here think is bootable. I'm not pointing fingers, I just want a decent, honest and polite response.

Don't get more kills than night or he'll boot you. Don't worry night some day you'll be as good as me.

Chances are, Virulence is the one who booted you because between Viru and Spidey, Viru's boot trigger is considerably faster. Count this as a good or bad thing. I think it's a good thing and prefer flying for coms with a hair trigger.

Especially Gui.

Virulence, you're the * of XT right? Can you make Gui start comming again?

I think it was vir that booted him today though I did boot him last week for being in the wrong place.

Just so you know I generally boot people who are:
A) not helping the team at all

consistently in the wrong place
C) annoying the team and bringing down morale

I will never boot someone for trying their best though. If you try your best to kill the miner and it lives oh well nice try. If you fly 8 k away form the miner chasing fertz while everyone else on the team got podded attacking it and now gets to ride home and watch the miner dock when it needed only one more shot then I will boot you

I think everyone in XT is a *, so that's not very helpful. He is A * though. (Is that A or AN?. Discuss amongst yourselves)

More or less true! But generally what spidey thinks you should be doing and what you really should be doing are the same thing.

My rule of thumb is that if I ask him about it after the game and he doesn't remember what I'm talking about then I was probably just fine and he was PMSing or something.

mad_ghost - aka blue_ghost - Last seen dming a 0 in a basic gt fig (gt is adv exp) with his ic dis2 qf2 adv fig and almost losing. Known for being useless and sending death threats to edmond via pm. Is on Boot on Sight list, Do Not Accept List, and Terrorist Watchlist (thanks nuke!)

also shouldnt this be in rants?
