I don't think it would be practical to hope for that sort of situation. Obviously you should be nanning the miner instead.

Drizzo wrote:QUOTE (Drizzo @ Dec 22 2009, 08:45 AM) DFs are for unsuspecting victims, unskilled players, and pretty much @#(! that doesn't strafe.
Also for shooting fleeing people in the back (vectors & speeds have to be agreeable to do this of course), and lobbing at people who are momentarily still (turning in a dogfight with somebody else) or stuck in prox. Dumbfires in a dogfight are just too much fun not to use... and like Drizzo and others have said, in most situations that really count, you want to have dumbs (opportunistic hits vs. drones / bombers mostly).

But most importantly for shooting people in the back.

The only time I load QFs is sometimes QF3 when one is forced to dogfight heavy ints, and vs. SBs / SFs... especially rix SBs.
Drizzo wrote:QUOTE (Drizzo @ Dec 22 2009, 08:45 AM) By the time a seeker loads and locks, the enemy chaff will be up, giving it a consistent 58% to spoof a seeker.
Waitaminute, I think he maestro is wrong here.

I'm 99% sure that a CM only does it's spoof "pulse" when it's launched. It has no continuing effect on missiles launched after that.

You obviously didn't read my post, did you?

What drizz means is that for every seeker you launch the enemy can launch a CM, so he can spoof all the missiles. With qf the enemy can only drop 1 chaff every 3 missiles or so, so there are 2 missiles that he cant spoof.

He's correct; you misread. Although I don't have the formula for calculating spoof percentages so I can't say if that is correct.

I sure did the first time, but your post still makes no sense, you always need someone to shoot the enemy.

I love QF's. Firing all those missiles makes me feel like a better pilot, so hence I must fly better right? Seekers nor dumbs sound as cool.

That reminds me. I need to set the mouse click on my desktop to play that .wav file.

Oh, he means there is always time to ready another CM?

Right. Language barrier then.

Yes. He also mentions that people who fire 3 QFs right away are idiots because when the int pilots drops a CM it will cause all 3 to be spoofed unless they're unlucky.
I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.

Personally adept I think there is no better missile for shooting people who are running away from you than dumbfires
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday
