I joined a game, and oddly, the bottom text (where it tells you you've donated your money, whos podded who, etc), seems to be normal, but everything else is in low res (to notice that, click on the link below the picture):

I tried lowering the res as well, but it doesn't have any effect on it.

@BV-
Could you explain that a little for me please; where/what is this wide screen fix thing?

I don't know what kind of GFX card I'm using, nor do I know how to find out.

Was I supposed to be running allegiance when I got these?

I don't know what my video card is or anything like that.

How do I reinstall my graphics driver?

Yes, I know I'm crap at this.

EDIT:
PKK, do you have SiS too? If so that pretty much concludes that it is the problem.

ok so I updated directx and installed the latest driver for my video card.
Pros: I can now read fonts
Cons: The actual graphics are now so screwed up it's not even funny

Video card is a SiS m7600gx

@mrc: please create your own thread, fill out the template (found here), also the contents of the files I mentioned above (default Allegiance folder path is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Allegiance).
Stumbled across this one

:unsure: do you mean me? I haven't posted an issue to the helpline in at least a year. I'm wondering if my suggestion to use safe mode for a video issue was the reason for your reply Ograss. It was advice, my issue was self fixed, about three years ago iirc, not my computer, and it's a landfill now... or it was just stfu your no help. I'll go with that for $50 :lol:
