This is totally true. I feel so self concious about it I need to find time to do ACS if I'm ever to join even the the lackluster-non-prime-time-commanders pool.

I remember a fun game about two years ago, think I was flying for Sheff. It was a tight game, and several players were backseat debating furiously whether we should get a backup exp, a complementary tac, or a SY. Sheff blows a fuse and yells that the next person to backseat will be booted. I make a sarcastic comment saying everyone is wrong and that we should clearly get a sup (no sup rocks), which I was typing out just as the above mentioned message comes up. *punt* Only been booted once since and never before. The other time was when I flew a last-desperate-attempt cruiser to camp an aleph for Lee_Mazilli and accidentally pressed full throttle instead of braking, going straight into prox/mp2/dis3 adv fig camp and dying in two seconds. I somehow found it as hilarious as the other team did.

The funniest boot I had was in a game at the begining of this year.
We were at the begining of the game and I had found the home sector, popped through the aleph and their gar was right on top of it. At this point I had, what can only be described as an attack of extreme cowardis. IT WAS SO BIG! I turned and ran. 1 1/2 sectors later, everyone is shouting at me 'WTF are you doing?' and I come to my senses. Too late, everyone is now shouting 'boot him, BOOT HIM!' It was really embarising.
