alephs do not work

In your Allegiance directory there is an uninstaller file called uninst

e.g. C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Allegiance

Let me rephrase: There is no other sane reason for alephs to 'stop working' than ping issues.
You do not need to write a program to collect your ping data. Just hit Windows_Key+r, type cmd, hit enter, type ping planet.dras.us, hit enter. Use the -t switch to have it collect ping data indefinanetly.

actually you will want to ping/tracert solap.fe23.co.uk as that is now the server of choice.
