top ten stats for current month - online

i just finished enough of it to put it online. comments/suggestions/complaints at will.

caveats:
stn_kills hasnt been updating for some time on the leaderboard... so if that looks wrong, it's because i dont have good source data

hrs_played got some really huge values lately for certain players... i dont know why, so if this doesnt make sense, it's cuz the leaderboard data is messed up too. (my script depends on good leaderboard data)

wow, i liked it... but... pkunk's 79 stn_caps seemed unrealistic to me. Also hours played is too high for a month? Good job anyways.

i dont understand what you're saying about monthly leaderboard... this IS the monthly leaderboard... if you wanted the overall top 10, you can get that straight from the leaderboard itself.

it's the total number of each stat, counting from the start of this month (aug).

yes, hrs_played is jacked up... read my initial post in its entirety please

stn_caps is showing correctly... when you think about it, it's not hard to get a ton of caps, esp if both teams are going exp. each recap counts as a cap...

you can kinda cross reference the way i arrived at the values by graphing the desired stat with the "last_month" selected. that way you can kinda see if it's in the ballpark since we're nearing to the end of the month...

please note that "last_month" in the graphing script actually means "in the last 30 days" whereas the top 10 script starts counting at the first of aug/sept/oct/dec, etc etc

Monlthy leaderboard would include the entire leaderboard.. if I'm catching their drift.

oh you mean not just display the top 10 but everyone else below? sure i can do that too...

let me think of a cool way to do that.. maybe you get to type in a callsign and it tells you something like.. you are:

31st in drn kills
2nd in stn_kills
1st in cmd_wins

something like that?

That would be extremely useful and fun to constantly look at. Please make this game as much like Battle School as possible.

you got it now.

For example there can be a Commanders Leaderboard listing all people who have commed in that month, more cmd_wins can make you rank higher and additional info like win percentage can be shown. And at the end of each month #1 player can be The Commander of The Month! And best win percentage can be prized with a title too. (Candidates should comm more than 10 games etc etc)...

We can do the same for kills too, kills/game, or hour can be titled... And it would be fun to see things like that.
