This has most likely been suggested before, but how hard would it be to make nanite mines? Drop them in a furball fir your interceptor cohorts or in front of you favorite bomb train. I think that a special class of mine with negative damage would do the trick. Would it be possible that they only affect your team?
I would make them fairly expensive to research, and cost money to purchase as well.
Code change or not?
I think this is an awesome idea.

Nans repair by doing negative damage.
Mines are never triggered by friendlies.
Code change.
You could create a mine field that does negative damage - but only the enemy could trigger it.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
WE COULD CALL THEM TRAITOR MINES!!!juckto wrote:QUOTE (juckto @ Aug 20 2009, 05:38 PM) Nans repair by doing negative damage.
