Personally i do like being podkilled, mostly because my bg is rarely > 10. (probing+nanning gives you that nice halo of sheepy meekness).

Baaah baah baah, and some...

One of your pods will die because I like you and other because your kb is insane

edit: yes yes Beatrice I love you too! die pod die!

Wow this ole rustbucket hasn't changed a bit, still has my beer holder and the dent where I podded on that asteroid.

Well, not a noob, a born again noob, been gone so long I lost 10 ranks..., probably rolling around with my lost marbles..

Hi all, I see not a whole lot changed... pod well.

hello again, I started playing a couple months ago but then a certain complication (i.e. Latin class + other various schoolwork) caused me to stop playing for a while. Well now i'm back (and still a complete newbie ;) ) and I've played a couple of games so far. (and I've accomplished the extremely difficult task of figuring out the interface :P ) I'm still pretty new and will try to enter the cadet I if i can fit into my schedule, but i'm probably going to be learning mostly on the fly (and by devastating my little bro in LAN games). I'm a decent pilot and skirmisher but I have limited knowledge of advance ships and weapons. I hope to see you all on the battefield.

Hey all, Fluffi here. I just downloaded this game last night and played a couple games in the early morning hours. I'm a fan of other space flight games such as Freespace 2, so I at least have some idea of how to fly. Everything else though, will take me a bit.

hullo new folks.

I've been here over a year, though im sure everyone still thinks i'm a noob. Allegiance is a great game. i LOVE it, it really is the only game i play, though i only get an hour a day max to fit in around work, and family, and football (proper football, not that toss you colonials play ;) )

Anyway, my main piece of advice has already been mentioned, but i think it's worth repeating, some folks on here have been around AGES, 8 years?, or is it 9?, either way, it has caused some (a minority) to become a little....unusual....in their outlook. Don't let the odd bad apple ruin your fun, i did for a bit and i had to talk to my wife in the evenings instead and that was RUBBISH.

Play, enjoy, take it seriously if you like, and god knows there's lots of scope for that, but try not to get over-awed if, like me, you just want to dip in for some fun every now and then. Don't get me wrong, i try to do things that will help my team win, but also i'm here to enjoy myself, and have no hangups about not becoming uber l33t.

Love -- Bloke (PS, i'll be super-awesome one day and everyone will kneel before me, MWWWAAAAAA HA Ha. hmm, anyway...........)

Hello everyone, Viridius here, aka John. A friend of mine discovered this place just today after I was waxing philosophic about the game...gotta love cult followings. First I get my Tribes 2 back, now this.

I played since release, but I thought the game had died out completely soon after it started...now....yay!

I'm by no means the best player, nor will I ever be, I suffer from cerebral palsy so my reflexes are slower than average, but you'll find I'll still do what I can for my team and have fun with the group.

Thanks so much to any of the FAO team who may read this, and I look forward to playing with you all.

Welcome Viridius - Hope to see you in space....

To help you on your way, it may be worth checking out the wiki and the academy. And sign up for CDT when you can, it will make you understand more about the game and give you a place to ask stupid questions (I had many of them when I did CDT)

Welcome back, and sorry to hear about the condition.

But as you no doubt remember, there is plenty more to do here than the old pew-pew furball. Strap yourself in a cockpit, and go shake off the rust
