Alleg not connect to zone!

Well, heres an atempt to play alleg at school.
Installed alleg...
Opend asgs...
Logged in via HTTP port (had to change cuz school fire wall blocks driect play)...
hit free games...
it updated...
and then gave me a failed to connect to lobby mesage!#%^@
Im am pretty shure its not the computers hardware that is causing the problem. so i dident bother filling out the template.

but I has no idea what the problem is...

No DirectPlay, no way to play Allegiance.

I am school is done any way... so if no directplay = no alleg, why include a HTTP?

Alleg and ASGS are two different beasts. You need DPlay with Allegiance. You can use HTTP with ASGS.

No. Sorry.

It's similar to the problems we have getting Alleg to work with Norton and Mcafee (it doesn't basically). Without the alleg code being changed we can't fix this.

You'll have to find a different Pc and or network to play on.

what about opening ports temoraraly with some sort of computer majix?
