Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to add a CAPTCHA to the PM system... only to posts/topics by guest users.
I can't even force registered users to use a CAPTCHA for PMs.

Doesn't matter anyway, most CAPTCHAs are easy for bots to read now, what you need is a CAPTCHA which is like a mini test of random questions

are you sure that its a bot? think of it like this, I create an account, go through the setup, then let my PMhack go loose, we need to figure out a way to stop them from spamming not stop them from registering or pm'ing

is there anyway to put a PM flood limit in?

Well yeah, TE was trying to put a CAPTCHA for sending PM's but apparently that can't be done, and then I was just saying that the standard weird text CAPTCHA sucks anyway and a question based CAPTCHA works much better.

Psych needs to reread the thread ;)

A PM limiter was put in.
