i disagree
knowing both side will probably go sup
non galvable teles around the map like we had
make a nice difference
it also made rt have a hard time killing our access, needing a full run for a tele is making things difficult
same as ripping miners
which thanks to my miner d
kept them alive for fooking ages (well the last one)

imho rt and srm played extremely well

it was a close fought battle
we had them on the ropes for a long time
but my poor tp2 scout just couldnt get into that friggin exp because of all the damn probes on the aleph
probe wall ftw!

I lost eye with just a sliver of hull left. I guess they thought I was dead or were completely disoriented as soon as they past boost me and failed to turn and finish the kill. I was still something less than 1K from the TAC when my energy run out and I got eyed again. Fortunately l1ngus and his excellent ramming skills did the trick and my shields had regened just enough to live it through. Epic.
Actually i was trying to catch up with you when you cloaked and manage to nan you before they took me down and you capped the tac. gj :)

The game was awesome, we had too much trouble after losing the sup and garr, but somehow we managed to cap their garr thx to idan, then everything changed. We were not the defending side after that.

Perhaps instead of saying we did not play well, I should've said "did not play to our best"...

You playing well and us not playing to our best are not mutually exclusive :)

Major kudos for commitment to the cause :) I often arrive a bit late because I hadn't got around to making sandwiches a bit earlier in the evening

oh shut up you all. he's trying to be polite and not point finger at me for chasing an enemy scout in my own scout, shooting QF @ it, and being like 10k away from 2 dying miners, while i was supposed to be nanning them :D

eh, what'll sleep deprivation and a 3 day party do to y'a, eh?

Sadly the server crash denied us a better game start.

But in any case, this game was totally different from the other week where we got you guys on the wrong foot. With both squads having a great turnout and putting their passion in the game this became a truly hard fought and tiring stalemate where neither side wanted to give up. (RT had to work a lot for this win and I am glad it didn't end and took as long as this game ;) )

You guys are great opponents and its going to be a taught rematch because you are perfectly able to beat us if they keep that level of game play.

Thanks for a great game and until next time! :iluv:

IC is indeed the only faction with that capability!

This game sounds amazingly epic! Nearly 4 hours is a serious endurance test!
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Three grueling hours of fun. TBO, although not all would agree...I consider that game a win. It showed the efforts that we have put into improvement, along with the help of some others within the community. ;)

Also, IC may not have been the generic choice, but we walked into it with a plan. Shove cons to their home, which we did. This is what was meant when the "switched map sides by the end of the game" comment was about. Both squads had literally ended up on the opposite side.

Was a very GG.

I agree with l1ngus though, it would have ended way earlier if RT had bothered with the TP2 run on SRM's sup.
