ummm yeah... here's what went down in crude form:
GB slapped SF around all game pretty good... SF came from behind with a last ditch offensive which paid off.
It was a very good game and I am pleased with both squads for a good level of play.
Hope to see SF soon in an upcoming match. Hopefully by then, I will be on a higher speed of internet and not have 400-700 lag and an off the chart ping [700-800]. perhaps then I can assist my squad better.
I think our squads are more evenly matched and this will result in good games.

Interesting. From what I've read miner defense on our end for the first game wasn't the greatest, but we still won. However, the second game was more evenly matched with both sides going tactical. Y'all took out our tactical, but we built a supremacy and a backup tactical. While your pilots were out on SB runs, someone in SF took a page out of my book and did a multi-sector bombing run which ended the game for a SF win.
Y'all still bagged the supremacy and were attacking the tactical when SF took out the garrison. Sounded like it was a race to see who could finish the game the fastest with pretty much all the pilots on offensive maneuvers.

I'm usually the one pushing for major bombing operations against the enemy. I usually stock up on enough AB to take our 2-3 bases every time I leave the base. You just never know.Evincar wrote:QUOTE (Evincar @ Mar 10 2009, 02:15 PM) a page out of your book = a completely standard bombing run?. lol.

That's called mission creep, do your mission then GTFO, granted sometimes there is a target of oppurtunity available but you can compromise the rest of your team with mission creep especially if target of opportunity is not so opportune.Striker wrote:QUOTE (Striker @ Mar 10 2009, 07:36 PM) I'm usually the one pushing for major bombing operations against the enemy. Er... derails on this thread? They're all relevant to the match.ImmortalZ wrote:QUOTE (ImmortalZ @ Mar 10 2009, 12:57 PM) When TE gave me this sword, he told me:
