Welcome Newbie Players
Oooh another dutchy. There are a lot of players from the Netherlands... I wonder why that is?

Welcome. Don't worry about the training missions.Sara_Valo wrote:QUOTE (Sara_Valo @ Mar 7 2009, 12:49 AM) Hello darlings, I am Sara and I just started playing today! I can't get past training mission 4 though.
See you online Sara_Valo. There's a lot to learn, but it's worth the journey.

I must disagree with Kitsune too. Scouting is an easy way to be useful. Nan things and place probes = you are already helping... but you want to learn to do the other stuff too.
Try to do what others do with the interceptors and fighters. Read up on Stealth Figs before trying them out, or you'll just be cannon fodder though.
Bind your controls so that you have easy use of all the thrusters, and work on running away in time

Bah! Fools the lot of you, a scout can win the game. With a scout you witness the best parts of Allegiance firsthand. Who nans the damn bomber? Who probes? Who can kill the effing miner in early game? WHO THE BLOODY HELL SAVES THE CON AND THE MINER? Ladies, Gents, and those in between, I present the scout.Adept wrote:QUOTE (Adept @ Mar 8 2009, 09:29 AM) I must disagree with Kitsune too. Scouting is an easy way to be useful. P.S. I refuse to acknowledge Belts as a faction!
Who saves the con and the miner? No nan can keep a miner alive indefinitely. You need an int and a scout to save any miner... unless, again, you're belts. In which case get your bloody mini-2 enh figs and do it all by yourself.
