Net 1.1 cant be found

When I click the link in the wiki, has MS stopped distributing the file? is there somewhere else to get it?

Did someone fix the link i the wiki, as it seems to work now, but psge looks different.

Might be an idea to include it as a download option with the installer, my friend tried alleg a few weeks ago but, as he didn't have .net1.1 he just gace up till I convonced him he would really like it. Just wonder how many newbs give up at that first hurdle?

Here is how I get the .net 1.1 download: go to microsoft.com, enter ".net framework 1.1" in the search box on main page. It will take you to a list of results. The first on the list is the one to download: "redistributable package." If you are in Vista you will probably get a message of program incompatibility when you begin the installation. Ignore it, eventually your updates will fix it or it works anyway.
