Agreed...All you CAN do is just mutiny, but not the boot...

`2

we can boot for any reason other then retaliatory and noobie

I damn well want to be able to boot the idiot who has been screwing up the game, and quite often, booting a clueless com both enlivens the team, as well as allowing another potentially better player to join my team.

getting booted is tough @#(!, get a hider, come back

Are you talking about screwing up the game in previous games???? Read the thread.... We are talking about under five minutes with previous intent prior to the current game. Preplanned mutiny, or mutiny within the first five minutes without any mistakes made, and in some cases a boot to boot.
Blah blah blah blah (breath) blah blah blah blah (breath) oh, what was this thread about again......

You know what would completely solve this problem? The ability to mutiny before launch.

It would be awesome if commanders could be elected prior to launch.

If it means that the 'sneakieness'(not sure how that is spelled!!) of the mutinies is removed, then sounds like a great idea.

yes? I do this all the time, plan a mutiny before the game even launches, or I come in at 5 minutes at see some noobs, I will pm a couple vets on the team, and consider a mutiny.

I've read this thread from the beginning and regardless of the situation, I'm going to bootiny for the good of the game.

one whiney noob comm, vs an entire team of people who voted by a majority that they would rather fly for me.

To be entirely honest, I don't usually boot the people I mutiny unless one or more of the following conditions are met:
1) they try to mutiny me back
2) they start complaining/ bitching
3) they try to sabotage the game
4) they try to keep commanding
5) they stop doing anything productive

now, how many mutinied pilots are NOT going to do one of the above things?

Psych, why not take command before the game instead of mutiny? If you want to $#@!ing command, then take command.

You quite obviously did not read this thread because if you did you would know that it's simply retarded to mutiny five minutes in instead of taking command in the first place. You don't even get the command win if the game is short enough, so why not TAKE COMMAND BEFORE THE GAME STARTS?

Now I hope you don't edit your post to take out the "regardless of situation" before you reply, so I'll quote you here:

They are screwing up the game before it has even started?
How about letting them make some mistakes IN GAME before judging them, they've got to learn some how.
If you don't want them to command, take comm before the game [NOTE here we are talking about people who've offered comm to others - not people who won't give it up]

No BOS lists either, sounds like you have a BOS list for anyone who comms who isn't a 6th year vet...

go read this
mutibooting relatively new commanders for trying when no one else wanted to sounds like fail on all those points.

FYI I did this today. newb comm wouldn't give it up. I said on all chat from noat that we should just join and mutiny. I joined, he had AA on, I mutinied and gave comm to a more experienced guy who them resigned and started over. The next game was actually decent, since both coms were decent.

Well, if he was hostaging, then this is completely unrelated to what was stated in this thread. Also, the boot-for-sucking is the kind of mentality that is slowly starving this game of players. If someone tries their best because no one else would, and their best wasn't good enough, why do you boot them. That means anyone who isn't a vet will be chased of, and since vets eventually leave, the less than 700 on the leaderboard is no suprise.
