this is too vague to be a rule.

Too few people are willing to command these days, let them boot all their team if they want to as long as they don't resign just after.

The boot resign rule is only vague if you're a forum-lawyer trying to defend clear asshat behavior.

Next time you want to boot 8 people in a row, just dump comm on the nearest voob or boot spidey for failing to mutiny.

Lets extend the non-boot ban policy to Inter 6.

Even moreso because I remember Ozzy booting 15, 20 people at once in a game, then taking the rest of his team on to win.

I agree with KGJV, but would add this: if someone graduates from ACS they can boot whomever the $#@! they want other than <4's. They can boot as many people they want.

Basically having "8 boots=boot resign" means that the first seven asshats who suck ass at the game and ignore the commander get the boot, but the 8th magically gets boot protection. No one over the rank of 9 should ever have boot protection, because over the rank of 9 you're either a stacker who should be booted or you should know how to play the game. It takes a couple hours to read the information in the Allegiance Acadamy, you don't have to spend four weeks in the course to be an effective pilot (that being said, it does help a lot). If you can't take the time out of your day to learn to play the game, then you shouldn't play the game.

Sigh, I was hoping the forum lawyers were on vacation.

1. In the chat log he is asked why he did not resign. He replied I ran out of time to do it.

2. Mass booting in a fit of anger is and will be considered a boot resign on my part. I will not write 42 paragraphs defining that.

3. Mass booting in a fit of anger can go either two ways under the ROC, boot resign or retalitory booting. I have multiple choices to pick from already. ;)

4. Ranks of protected players will be adjusted when the new ranking system is implemented.

yes it is if the game started with juvi@squadftw as comm.

Blame the vets who let him comm. They're either probably AFKing in NOAT or waiting for a spot to stack other team.

You'll blame a child for using a gun but not the adult who gave it to him ?

Will you say a child is not guilty of shooting the local nerd just because some adult forgot to lock away the gun? Doesn't make it right.

Personally, I think there is enough booting going on already, we don't need to give commanders free booting privileges.
