I'd like to see people with less than, say 200 posts be completely unable to post in rants.

No read access, no forum visibility, nothing.

Make a forum called "The Garbage Can" where ucky nasty posts that degenerate into absolute filth can be moved to, but keep rants pure.

It should be about actual rants.

Vote "No" to idiotic spam in 2008!
Vote "Yes" to spidey!

Might as well make it 50 posts since we already have a major milestone there, voting.

Deleting all posts that are off topic in Rants might as well mean delete the entire forum... boooo /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Damn I came in here reading the title as 'Restricting Pants'. Down with Pants!

However I agree, <50 posts = no rants access. And it lets us bitch about newbies behind thier backs, muahahahahaha!

<50 no rants FTW

Besides voting, it gives them a prize for making 50 contributing posts.

which if they take CDT-I and CDT-II shouldnt be hard to reach

I would hardly call access to rants and posting priveleges in it a prize.

then we must keep it a secret! /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

simply don't mention it and they won't know, include in it's description text "super awesome hidden forum you must tell no one about" and all will be well /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

and even if people do occasionally mention it, it's not going to cause a flood
