Seriously....rushing spec mines is not a good idea. The idea of spec mines is to supplement the econ, not replace it. Early game, you should be focused on getting tech, not pumping out spec mines. If you spend all of that money on spec mines and the other team gets tech up, you could be in trouble. If they get GS or a Sup with AC2 for their bombers, you would most likely still not have tech up. They would be able to dominate the map because they would win the tech race. You need to get tech first to defend that which you build. You can mine PLENTY in the first 20-30 minutes that you do not need spec mines.

Plus, you want to make sure they do not go sup to galv your mines away.

You may be winning using that strategy, but it does not mean it is right. It just means u r comming against fools or are lucky. Maybe both.

People who say Rushing Spec Refs are wrong, you are idiotic.

It has its place, there are certain maps where it is VERY viable. Im not saying Hihigher, im not saying its a surefire win. No strategy is. They all have their time and place, and this one has its.

@ Guitarism. Yes, it was. Spidey was yelling at me for rushing specs, and made this thread after a game I had where I rushed specs... It was my sixth/seventh day playing, and my third day commanding. At the time I knew it was viable, but I didnt know the game well enough to know when, and how.

Also, dont ask me to reveal the inner workings of this strategy.

MW you don't belong in SysX, they're just holding you back. They are hung up on not being able to admit your ability because you are unafraid of self promotion.

There is a perfect fit available. And they have a teenager with terets.
