Okay the next release of the CC is probably a 2/3 months away but I still would like to put a vote towards this. Should we disable XRM antibase missiles in the next release to see what and how it affects gameplay. Please vote on this subject, and remember every vote counts and also feel free to post your ideas.

i voted yes, and i take the opportunity to point out that figbombers have way too little fuel in their cruise boosters (i don't think it's a bad thing they have little fuel on lt booster or the other one, but crs should be powerful). maybe this doesn't belong here, i just thought it was important to bring it to the table since we are voting on a definite nerf to sup

Taking out XRM most definitely gets rid of any chances of successfully TP2'ing. Why get rid of it anyhow? You have to jump through so many loops to be able to use XRMs it's ridiculous. You have to upgrade a garr (10k) then get tp1 & tp2 (10k), hvy bbrs and adv scouts (17.5k), upgrade a sup (20-30k), and then have at least 5 bombers for it to BARELY work (2.5k), not to mention the cost of the XRMs themselves (5k). That is a crapload of money just to utilize XRMs in the manner most people do.

My point is this: most people don't go the xrm/tp2 route, and don't go one route without the other. Leave XRM alone, as by getting rid of it then you might as well get rid of a missile per rack on sbs and increase the signature for HTT's, since we're nerfing end-game tech.

EDIT: Evin, figbbrs are cheese. I think the fuel should stay the same only because if you tp2 in figbbrs then there's really no chance for the other team. If three get in range and don't die within 10 seconds, any base is kaput.

Figbbrs are fine. Leave them alone. The last game I played, Grav beat the crap out of the team I was on with FigBbrs.

This quote is so stupid you should be placed on mod preview for a year.

I have seen sup three times this week win with Fig bombers and not XRM and once was against mini 3 heavy ints so yes it can be done.

Sup has 2 endgame techs utilizing tp 2 Neonoob. Figbees and bombers so really we are just bringing them into line with the one's below.

Exp has 1 end game tech
Tac has 1 end game tech

You CANNOT stop 15 heavy bombers that have ripped into a sector 4k away from your base with 15 mini 3 heavy ints.

You at least have a chance to stop 15 fig bombers although that too is by no means certain. Also maybe we will see people buying things like Med 3 and AC3 again and ripping in mother$#@!ing bomb runs 4 or 5k away to get past camped alephs and walking to an exp with 2 or 3 heavy bombers with 15 heavy scout nans which takes GASP some actual $#@!ing teamwork instead of people just ripping in 15 turreted bombers

I think some people have not understood that I was talking about TP2 in regards to XRM bombing. Maybe I should have been more clear?

Here's an idea though (which will probably get spidey's thong in a bigger knot than it already is): decrease the damage and range for XRM? You get the best of both worlds: a less dangerous end-game tech with "more teamwork" like spidey asks for.

And sheesh, throw your opinion out there and you find out who the real wolves are. In no way was I trying to piss anyone off, but then again I forgot trolls love to pounce on anything they can get their hands on.

I'd like to mention that the devs nerfed tp2 in 1.25 cause it was too strong when it didn't even have XRM or fig bombers. A drop 2/3k from a rock with half nans/half bombers + ab3 is very powerfull.

So you are saying removing XRM'ing would make TP2 drops using XRM useless?!
