Problem Encountered at Step #: (read the "What Should Happen" for this step#)
Which Program (ASGS/Allegiance): Allegiance
What Error Message: Pings aren't coming back
Comments (What you tried, description, etc): Ran AVG, Spybot scans, tried a System restore, but get message that I can't restore to that point. Browsing is slower. Even Windows backgammon is slow as hell, aswell.

If I go into my System Restore there is a Restore Point with SDS 3.0 on the 9th and 10th of this month.
Ever since about that time Allegiance is unplayable as my ping is around 600ms.
The thing is Windows won't restore to those points.

Does anybody know of a way to remove this intrusive MS update.

I might be wrong about SDS being my problem, it's just that my BAD ping started about that time.

SDS = Windows Update.

Do you have a Norton product installed? It'll block System Restore (yeah, lets block the one thing that'll recover from the $#@! ups you make. NICE WORK NORTON).

No Norton products. Just Spybot and AVG 8, with the darn link scanner.

Uninstalled AVG, disabled windows firewall, did a registry clean with spybot, removed about 6 processes from startup.

Comp is faster at opening programs/applications and at restart, but LAG persists.

Have tried all 3 servers.

Edit - Ran Eusing free registry cleaner. Just played a game, everythings back to normal, thanx. You can close this now.
