It's also another part of the Test-To-Play-Allegiance™. If you can't look through the community home, how are you going to download/install a core or mess with your registry once SP3 is installed or whatever? I kid, I kid. However, the game itself is a lot more complicated and requires a lot more patience than figuring out the front page, especially when we have the splash page at the root address.

It's not like you have to mess with your router and install four different things to play anymore...

Sorry wasent really sober posting this.
I mean to say: there is a fudge load of adverstiments, chat boxes or whatever, links to another 3 links that lead to nowere you needed to be, and its all crammed in about 3 pages that lead to 50 others.

And I am an adult. I act like it when im sober. Im a nice person. Dont preach to me about charactor or how long to play when im just making suggestions.

When you first see it its overwhelming becuse of all the stuff, and things you dont understand.
10 download things but none download the game.
I dont care if people start rants. I think I can handle hormonaly stressed teenagers cuss filled rants about people they dont even know.

Now we can keep this civil as I would like it to be, or we can flame each other.

Please try to stay at least semi-professonal to people just posting whats on there mind.
Im not critizing the game, or its players. I just posted a thought on peoples reactions to the pages.

Youll be totally lost if you dont know were it all leads.

You can flame me all you want now, it wont achieve anything but degrade your maturity.

Please learn to repsect other peoples thoughts and feelings.

And keep it clean.

I don't really think this community is that uptight here... I don't know the average age, but I would have to say that it's probably a higher than any other online game that has shooting in it. However, everyone is always drunk or something when they play, so it doesn't really matter.

When in Rome, do like the Romans do. We're like a big family, since there are not over 1000 regular players and we all end up knowing each other to some degree. You'll start seeing familiar faces (especially the commanders) if you play regularly.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Meliza, we're not flaming you, we're flaming Sakuda /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

As for your points:

On the home page:
(direct link!)

On the downloads page:
very first item is "Allegiance Setup - The total game. Includes everything you need to get up and running, except for Microsoft's .NET framework v1.1. Be sure to create a gameplay account!!"
