I am confused.
This is what I understood:
XT joined tourney with SPQR knowing they will not be competitive but to learn SPQR.
If so, why then care if win/lose isnt this learning process? If win is all, why join if you knew you would lose?
Pantyhoses.... you were one of my cool players when you joined. For some $#@!ed up reason it seems that you and some others in XT think XT=$#@!heads. Well, I can tell when I joined XT (before you), that was not the reason for joining. It was the pure unadultered evil mother$#@!ers owning everyone IN GAME, not in who can spew more @#(! and act as idiot.
Duck, Ada, Raindog, Agri, Weed, Stormy, Ele, Fullmark, Tallon, etc. were all there and they were $#@!ing owning WITH SKILLS and teamplay, not by going on chat whining nor saying "oh we dont care we will not play". To work as team and be evil skilled mother$#@!er was the requirement of XT.
And lets stirr more drama since I get so $#@!ing worked up when people out of XT and those inside $#@!ing misuderstand the point of XT. And those newcoined (with great exceptions like Drizzo, etc.) XTs think they are the oldtime XT... You know some have been kicked from XT, the OLD XT, then rejoins the current XT and think they are the golden globe of XT and representative of it... $#@! that!
I dont give a @#(!, stirr me drama and flame. As I said, the days of OLD XT were the days of evil skilled mother$#@!ers that gave 150% to win any game as team and to inflict fear with skills not by being ass. Until you realize what true XT was and why the $#@! they got good reputation you will just ruin its picture further.

As the organiser of this tournament I am saddened by the attitude of those XTs who have decided not to take part in the doubles tournament but it is their choice and I do not judge them because of it.
When I first proposed the Doubles Tournament XTs OC reps were as enthusiastic as anyone (except Weed who was faintly incoherent, but I digress) and entered the tournament knowing better than most who they would be partnered with. The teams are not mathematically fair, there's no way of achieving that but the intention was never to screw XT over, but to give SPQR a chance. Average team sizes in the Tournament so far have been 30 vs 30. I felt and still feel that a team of 20 XT and 10 SPQR would have at least an even chance against any opponent. If XT and SPQR choose to balance the team more evenly then that is a credit to them.
I would also like to address Void specificall on this issue:
I hope that XT will pick up and continue playing both tournament and regular games for a long time to come, their loss to the community would be a large one.

Whilst the timeframe for the tournament is quite long, I would suggest that 4 games in 3 months is not an excessive drain on you SG availability. A tournament is a comitment, not knocking it raveen, think the concept is cool, but to be committed to it and the team your playing with means that during the off weekends, like what most of the squads are doing, you should be scrimaging or practicing with your partner squad, something we have done each weekend and have had great feedback from both sides, I think it has been very beneficial to Legion as well as many other squads.
We committed to doing it as their wasn't much of an alternative and we wanted to give it a shot. So instead of just saying FU Legion on those off weekends we are scrimaging with them to let all of our players have a chance to meld together.
I didn't feel the need to repeat things that had already been said and of course Snack that opportunity to belittle me and strike more words of negativity, but so that he isn't confused and near sighted I'll repeat some of those. I think highly of Legion and understand the pains they will grow through as I have worked other squads through the beginning phases and rebuilding phases. Its a daunting task and I hope we have helped them, and continue to help them through the rest of the tourney and beyond.

I simply saw comments that to me would be taken as "Thanks to the few XT that showed, and FU to the rest of you" sarcasm. Obviously other XT took it the same way and hence their posts. I apolagize if you expect me to sit back while you bash my fellow squad mates for not showing up to the tournament and I explain what may be their motivation to not show up. If you don't respect their decision, well that is your right. Don't expect me to sit back while I see attitudes that are not constructive to this community get voiced without voicing my own, and if one day my attitude toward a thriving community is in the minority then I will gladly bow out and leave this game that I love to be butchered.
Now I may just get a bit personal for a minute, because ignorant posts like yours snack are just great for a laugh and I thank you as I will probably reread them a few more times as they just prove my point oh so well. I hate to tell you this but I have contributed quite a bit to this community so my mirror is quite clear, I look at it often and find things I can do to help all the time and follow through with them.

Serb, I think you missed the point of my complaints. my personal bitch is that XT isnt showing, and those people that i really like playing with, arent. I pointed out that if we had enough of XT showing, we would have at least been competitive.

Why don't you go ahead and read the third post in this thread. Your XT brethren unprovoked made their own negative posts. No one is bashing XT besides themselves... I know there is some attitude of "the world is against me" but Psychosis and Kumquat bashed XT on their own, while others were PRAISING you in the thread. They provoked it, and others responded to their posts, what do you expect?
Instead of feeling like you have to defend every XT that makes a post, why don't you take a page out of Lyko's book and see what was happening for what it was.
