Well, I haven't tried this with my new computer so I'll give that a go, thanks.

Do you enable the Allegiance music while playing?

Pioneered by Wing Commander, when it comes to space shooters.

I used to on my old lappy. Now I don't at all. Random singing over TS maybe /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Oh, and the music had no effect on my gameplay.

Curiosity, Try the AMP2 pack. It has custom tracks that respond to in-game events. I also believe that changing the file format to ogg would reduce the caching issue, but how to do it with the official tracks is something the MDL gurus will have to post here.

Really? I thought iMuse in the XWing/TIE Fighter games was the first to do this. I'd readily accept that I'm wrong I'd just like clarification /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Convert file format to .ogg? I thought we had to convert them from .ogg to .wav for slow computers?

...Actually, I don't know if my computer is a slow machine, but I converted the file format from .ogg to .wav just in case.

EDIT: Typos again!
