the 'Maximum speed' for boosters is not calculated on fuel, but on thrust.
Also, I've hit over 650 in a Colonial Stealth Ship on BSG core.

I had to try this. Got to 561 mps with a dreg hvy int / boost 3 / ship speed GA. Boosted across three sectors and through 2 alephs. Didn't think to ditch my weapons and CMs, might've gone faster without them.
Ship agility GA made no difference (no surprises there), but later I got ship accel GA and topped off around 500 mps instead.

What is the speed of an unloaded scout being rammed by a friendly int going at max speed?
- what do you mean, a belter or a dreg /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
What is the speed of a LRM? - Can you out run one?
side note: In the old days, a giga hvy int was really fast.

Heh a Battlestar can side thrust at 100. Go figure. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
I reached 200+ mps in a belter cruiser on old MS core.
PS:
It was a special map..
PPS:
Alephs were less than 500 m away from each other, so I could hold the speed boosts after leaving an aleph
