Best Anti-Stackers
Hands down, no question: Raindog. Hes a damn good player that always anti-stacks. If/when the loss comes, he doesn't bitch for 15 mins about the evilness of the stack, he just plays another round. He anti-stacks AND hes not annoying. This makes him #1 by far.

Angry_O, H_Mallow, spidey, Champy, trasher, Pico, Raindawg, BV, MadAcc, Snack, Frag, Sheffwill, Startled Bunny, Darkling, Avenger, Shiznut, aarmstrong, Virulence, Firestorm, Shotgun, Weed, GreyV, Saramin, Ahan, Deng, Bored, more, many more.
All top players, all indifferent to what team they join. There are others.
The hotshot players aren't the problem, it's the average to better than average herd that follows them like sheep, forcing the less experienced on to the other team.
If pushed I would single out Angry_O, because he is the best dogfighter I have ever played with. He jumps off of the team at the end of every game he plays, and rejoins after the next game has started, purely, it seems to pick the underdog team. I have seen him finish top kills with every type of crappy ship in the game, out teched, other team stacked to hell, most bastardised horrible situation you can imagine, he never quits, never gloats, never complains, just keeps killing @#(!.
Angry should be the first player into the Allegiance Hall of Fame.

I miss the stacker/antistacker leaderboard
The definition of anti-stacker is unclear also. Is it someone who almost always joins the worse team, or rarely joins the team that is by far the better? If the latter, I would call that "not stacking" as opposed to anti-stacking. eg a lot of Duckwarrior's list, I would say "aren't stackers" as opposed to being dedicated anti-stackers.
For my money, I would say angry_o too - to be honest I haven't seen him play much, but when he does, I never see him as part of a stack, apart from the end-of-game ones (ie - when the other team gives up and quits, thereby creating an imbalance towards the end of a game).
I wish there were a way from NOAT to determine the difference between an end-of-game stack and a mid-game stack, to help decide whether to log off or join the underdogs.

edit - just for kicks here are two of my favourite anti-stack victories...
http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...showtopic=26527 - hugest stack I've ever seen lose
http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...showtopic=34286 - large stack, bombing vs IC hvy ints

Good point. Non stacker is not the same as antistacker. A dedicated antistacker with very high HELO is almost an impossibility.Gandalf2 wrote:QUOTE (Gandalf2 @ Feb 1 2008, 10:03 PM) I was top of that board for quite a while and I don't get a mention here

The two dedicated antistackers I know are Aeris and ImmortalZ.

I have no fear for losing helo, I just join the underdogs. I have played the last ten minutes of a lot of hour long games.Gandalf2 wrote:QUOTE (Gandalf2 @ Feb 1 2008, 12:03 PM) I wish there were a way from NOAT to determine the difference between an end-of-game stack and a mid-game stack, to help decide whether to log off or join the underdogs.

It's not the losing helo that worries me, of course not, it's the pointlessness of playing a game which is basically over already with 0% chance of winning. This happens especially when you have so many newbies on the team, it is impossible to pass a resign vote, and the other team just toy with the enemy and wait for battleships to destroy mk1 tech, things like that.quackdamnyou wrote:QUOTE (quackdamnyou @ Feb 2 2008, 12:39 AM) I have no fear for losing helo, I just join the underdogs.
