cvh-ing is explained in the Wiki - just search under 'modeling' and it'll be 'Modleing for free allegiance' or something like that.

That just explains doing cvh's with Milkshape. Supposedly with the mdl toolset from the source, you can convert any .x model into alleg format, but there hasn't been a tutorial for that put on the wiki yet.

heh can't i just copy paste the model over the old one, size it a bit larger and call it CVH_01?
