Many options available in Allegiance, it's almost as if it's ...

for real.

4) Load up your int with fuel and pick him up

But then you wont have enough ammo to pod all of your enemies!
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Usually us folks on ts will do this a little during PU games.

I almost forgot. I usually paired up with a friend when we played Allegiance in 2000.

last saturday (i think), i discovered the wonder of stealth HTT base capping. Sheffwilliams was in a HTT, while i was in a scout nannig. He taught me the basics of stealthing (like how to lower your signature by taking out your shields and missles), anyways, we capped a good 3 bases that way. Stealth capping a base is alot easier than bombing it, especially if you are low on creds. Back to topic: I like being a wingman, to learn from vets, since as of December 22 2008, i am a newbie(4). Games would be a whole lot different if people would learn to team up without the threat of a boot from the Com.

The only difference between a cadet and a newbie is that cadets know not to fly into a rock the size of the New
Orleans Superdome!
2.7^(3.14*sqrt(-1))≈-1 (of course, since 2.7 is an approximation of e and 3.14 is an approximation of pi)

When I played PU games, getting a squadmate or buddy was always good fun. I know between Strike/aarm/Psy, I've gone on plenty of wingman type runs. Only works in PU games though, where the other team almost always sucks /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

I wing we with quite a number of differnet guys, depending on what were doing. If its MinerO I usually grab my scout and be the spotter for my wing Int while combat nanning. The other week I winged some guy who I didnt know, got into the miner sector, combat nanned him to a 30kb while he took out the defenders, then when all was clear....he boosts off to another sector, leaving me to get podded and 2 full miners untouched. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

In future I think Il stick to winging with the guys I normally do it with.

That's not exactly what I see as wingmen flying. That was you helping out an int. If you guys had been wingmen, you would have communicated a plan and looked out for each other... exactly as he/she didn't.

Teamspeak is pretty much the key to getting the most out of wingman flying. That, or knowing each other really well already, and communicating enough with voicechats and private chat.

It can be difficult to do this unless you are on TS, I have from time to time been a wingman with people that I enjoy flying with.
