IMHO its like /meh its a number its cool it shows who is good at getting more numbers and points and crap.
All we need to really know accurately is who is a newbie, who hasn't had the time or learned the basics of the game yet and that he or she needs more specific details than others and is protected from being booted for not doing a certain thing because they lack that knowledge.
A vet has the knowledge, knows how to escort a con, or D a miner, or probe, they may suck at it or may not do it when asked, but then I can boot them, they can log in with a new nick and either choose to do what is needed for the team to win, or get promptly booted to the lobby again and start their own game.
One change I would like to see implemented if not already is that a newbie should not get points while playing on the newbie server. This would encourage them to get oriented there quickly and move to the main once they know what they are doing so they can start climbing the ladder. We get way too many that have shed their number and come to the main server thinking they know what they are doing.

I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

So much drama. So long posts. So infinite discussion. I can tell Sarge will be wanting to use IRC hiders for when he doesn't want to be flooded with AS questions (always the same).
Just have it go live for a week and shock us. See if it works ingame, not on the boards /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
PS: Sarge, for your mental health, make a FAQ in the wiki. You should now be able to edit pages.

I think the existing system is semi accurate for judging a stack, insofar as stackers will try to join the higher numbers, so they end up with other stackers, and tend to win games, otherwise they wouldn't have high numbers.
It's not a very good judge of skill though.
