Player Ranking in Allegiance
I was gonna start to beat this drum rather hard in January, but sgt_baker is that much more determined than me /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I voted that everything was OK and didn't need really any rework. I think time could be spent better improving alternative aspects or adding new features.
For me, the ranking system isn't that important. The player base here is small enough that if at a time I am concerned with ranking myself against others, I can do it mostly from memory of playing against other players! The majority of the time though, I'm just here to play, whether the game is stacked or not, [as I try to anti-stack] I view it as a challenge either way.
What the ranking system does for me is is identify veteran players. Some may argue with this. But whether you stack a lot to boost your rank, that still takes games and tells me that you may have picked up something from playing on all those winning teams. Or, from the original design of the system, it accurately is depicting over the course of many games your Allegiance skill!
So, my opinion is worth a grain of salt because I don't invest that much into player rankings. I appreciate the feature [noting what it does for me above] but I would not vote it as something critical to be replaced. My $0.02, and many thanks who care more than me in regards to improving this issue. Best;
