Summary:
Part I - The opening.
We knew it wouldn't be easy to keep our con alive so decided to delay it in order to focus on intercepting theirs. The main body of our lt Ints heads 3 while a few go 4. We spot their con D in 5 and camp up. They camp up too - preventing us to rush their con that is indeed heading to 3. It gets redirected to 6. Our lt Ints from 6 can make enough trouble to macerate their camp and we can rush in from 3 with minor losses in manpower, reach the con in 6 and can kill it.
While that happens we push our OP 4 but have to build it short due to remaining yellow lt Ints trying to get it. Both TPs build in the respective Garr sector.
We start mining in 1. They start mining in 8. We have to rip miners since they can push an OP to 1 which we fail to intercept in time. Original plan is to push our Exp to 8 but they are quicker and claim the rock so we have to build in 3. We can rush their miners in 8 and kill them. They put lots of pressure on our miners in 3 and can push another OP to 2. We put our second OP into 7 while rushing their new miners at the same time (coming from 5).
Part II - The Miner wars
Amazing team effort results in all their Miners dieing and them never being able to mine again. The latter especially THANKS to Mordechaj who sits in their home for the next 70mins of the game eyeing every new nme Miner thats pops out (this way we probably knew earlier about it then most of the yellow team) + providing vital information about their attempts to defend it (which alephs are proxed, how many nans on the miner ect.. /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":iluv:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> ). As soon as their Miner is eyed it usually gets rushed by something like 15 Hvy Ints.
Speaking of Hvy Ints. Since we lose 2 full Miners and I waste tons of cash on caltrops/towers in order to lower the immense pressure on our Miner D they can actually payday AdvExp! Which they get at least 5mins before we have it despite the fact that we have a surviving Miner. Now a furious defence battle emerges around that miner. Miner473 becomes probably the most hated and most loved AI driven vessel that game. Its our only representative advantage over the other team and we try to hold it by all means. So many times are we on the brink of losing it since 20 mad guys on the other team have nothing else to do then rushing it over and over again.. But a nice mix of well dropped prox, brave naning and angry Int whoring can save it long enough to buy us Adv miner, a spare Miner, Exp GAs, a TP con (which we push to 7) and a Sup that we build 7. This Sup has the sole purpose to give us a real advantage in the expected HTT wars.. (GAs+EWS2+Boost2).
Of course the GAs help the miner D too. The last action of this phase is pushing an OP from 6 into their Exp Sector (while asslt mining 6).
Part III - HTT are up
They can payday HTTs. (Gives you a bit of an idea how stuck the stalemate situation was.. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> ). While scanning for possible HTT routes I realize our Garr is most likely the first target. But its too late. They cap it and since I became too greedy (saving for Hvy Scouts) and hoped for us to steal EMP my recap is bouncing off.. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />. Multiple runs are started from both sides. The shock over losing the Garr was in so far healthy since we find back to our concentration. (Sometimes you just need that kind of wakeup call). We can defend successfully against quite a few serious attempts to capture our Sup/OPs. Mcwarren has some close runs on their bases but the key is Abom's HTT capturing their Exp while I can rip to our former home and recap the Garr. Most incredible we can kill their recap. With Mini3/Prox3 and a Adv Tac con cooking to push in their home we can capture their Garr with a massive run (I think Gandalf got it) before we even have to use it.
+ Killing their opening OP and developing a slight advantage slowly into a game deciding one
+ Incredible Miner D on the game deciding Miner473
+ Great probing, recon work (The "Newbie of the game award" goes to Sakana(0)@CDT for droping something like 150probes - guided by Snack)
+ Lovely naning of towers/cons/.. whatever had to be saved /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":iluv:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />
+ The only thing we did better then defending ours is killing their Miner (naturally SheffWill got most of them /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />)
- Not going for HTTs straight but getting a Sup first delays the End game
- Not getting AdvExp before them despite having a working Miner (Too many caltrops, too much harassment )
- Despite EWS2/Sensor GA I fail to scan for holes in our probe network early enough which results in our Garr getting capped
Personal sidemark:
My favourite moment was to watch the coordinated prox drop in the path of the rushing con offence when we pushed our OP to their Exp Sector. None of the boosting Ints made it through except for ogo who was quickly poded by the waiting Ints.

Result: » Blue wins
==============
Thanks a lot for this hard fought game!
Yellow was on the brink of making a comeback due to us getting a bit sloppy near the end. (Even through we had 14k banked and 2 working Miners)
